“M-a-r-i-a. I just met a girl named Maria. And suddenly that name will never be the same to me!” West Side Story’s homage to Maria is fitting for the beautiful and soft-spoken chef who transported us back to Italia with the promise of tasting the best focaccia breads of our lives. Now if that doesn’t get you going, nothing will.
After entering through some of my favorite doors this past Saturday, I was ready to add some new breads to my repertoire.
On the focaccia menu: Fig and Gorgonzola, Feta and Sun-dried Tomato, Potato and Herb, Strawberry with Sweet Basil. Hmmmmmmmmmm………..sound delicious? They were all that and more, and I have the pictures to prove it.
